City Assists County With Fire

1200 Hours / 217 Friedensburg Rd / Mt Penn Borough / C Platoon

Engine 3 and Ladder 1 were dispatched to Mt Penn Borough to assist on a reported Structure Fire with Entrapment. Mt Penn Fire Company had a fire officer on scene reporting a porch fire with extension into roofline. Upon arrival, E3 assisted with fire suppression and Ladder 1 was instructed to set up and go to the roof to open up. C4 responded along with the companies and was interior with fire suppression crews. All individuals made it out of the structure. Companies cleared and returned to the city at 1251 hours.
