Vehicle Into Building Catches Fire

06:15 Hours/ 400 Block of Washington St/ C Platoon- Companies were dispatched to the 400 block of Washington Street for a motor vehicle accident with a vehicle into the building. C4 arrived on scene and confirmed 1 vehicle into a building and reported fluids down. While crews were on scene mitigating fluids, smoke and fire started showing from the trunk area of the vehicle. Crews pulled the booster line off Engine 3, took out the rear window, and extinguished the fire. Fire was contained to the rear of the vehicle near the battery. The area was overhauled and companies cleared the scene a short time later. One occupant was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.
